Question:
What is the single most important thing I should consider when hiring a personal trainer?

Answer:
That is a tough question. There are many things you want to consider when choosing a trainer. If I were to single out one it would be credentials. This would include experience, education, degrees, professional certifications and professional affiliations. Whatever you do don't hire a trainer over the telephone. Arrange a meeting in a quiet place free of distractions and interview your trainer candidates similar to how you would interview a job applicant. Your health is serious business so take your search seriously and pick someone you feel most comfortable with.
