Regardless of your current fitness level or exercise experience, an initial
fitness assessment is a very important tool to get a baseline measurement
of your current fitness level, posture, flexibility, strength and endurance.
As a trainer, it gives me invaluable information to help structure your
workout program. As the trainee don't be surprised if you learn a few
things about your body that you never realized. After we are finished,
I load up all of the stats into a detailed report, which we discuss together,
and set concrete goals on everything we measure. Not to mention, it is
very motivating later to look back at where you started to measure your
improvement and set new goals. This service can also be purchased as a
standalone service whether or not you purchase training sessions or other
services. Allow 1 ½ hours for the assessment and 1/2 hour to review and
discuss goals.
The initial fitness assessment includes the following:
9 site body composition to determine your body fat percentage. This
is much more accurate than the typical 3 site body fat measurements
that most trainers and fitness facilities perform.
16 site circumference measurements to determine your total inches.
We measure both right and left sides of the body to check body symetry.
Postural assessment. We grade your current posture so you can can
see where you are improving down the road.
Range of Motion & flexibility testing
Cardiovascular fitness testing
Muscular strength & endurance testing
Fitness assessment report reviewing results and highlighting target
training goals
Half hour goal-setting review or phone consultation to review your
