Running hills and cross country running is a great way
to increase power and strength in both the upper and
lower body. By mimicking the terrain our runners will
experience during their races we not only make them
stronger but mentality prepare them for the challenges
they may face on a race course. The strength gained
from hill training also prepares runners for speed work,
bounding drills and additional fine tuning needed to
increase turnover, speed and pace. Our hill training program takes place during the first half of our marathon/half marathon training season and is held on the hills of Allen Parkway
between Shepherd Drive and the edge of Downtown Houston. Purchase as a stand alone program or as a part of our

Program Cost
$85.00 per 12 week session or $150.00 for the combo session which includes session #1 & #2. Workouts are 50 minutes per session not including recommended warmup and cool down. Price above for summer session and combo is prorated based on current date.
Sign Up Deadline
Join any time at prorated amount for summer session #1. Deadline to participate in entire 12 week fall season is October 3rd or join during session #2 at prorated price.
Purchase as a stand alone program or with one of our marathon training packages (best value).
Where We Meet
Hill training sessions take place on the hill of Buffalo Bayou adjacent to the intersection of Shepherd and Memorial Drive. See our

When We Meet
Summer Session #1 meets once a week for 12 weeks on Wednesdays at 5:30 AM or 6:00 PM between July 14, 2010 and September 29, 2010. Fall Session #2 meets once a week for 12 weeks on Mondays at 5:30 AM or 6:00 PM between October 4, 2010 and December 20, 2010.
The following is included with any of our hill training programs:
- Run coaching from certified fitness professionals and coaches
- 12 (or less if joining late) weekly, 50 minute hill training sessions
- Water & Gatorade provided at all group runs
