This comprehensive, 24 week training season focuses on interval training using hilly terrain and speed work
on a 1/4 mile track and speed play workouts at Memorial Park. The program is designed for both beginners and advanced runners with varied workouts for each skill level.
Regardless of skill level the goal for these workouts are to improve strengh, power, speed, leg turnover, running form, stamina and endurance.

Program Cost
$280.00 for 24 weeks of 50 minute hill and speed workouts every Monday and Wednesday (48 workouts). The price reflected above is the prorated amount based on today's date.
Sign Up Deadline
July 11th for our full 24 week season but join any time during our season and pay a prorated membership fee. Our hills & speed season coincides with the Houston Marathon and Half Marathon training schedules to help improve race times.
Where We Meet
Hill training sessions take place on the hill of Buffalo Bayou adjacent to the intersection of Shepherd and Memorial Drive.
Speed training sessions alternate between the Lamar High School Track (
Westheimer at River Oaks Boulevard) and speed play workouts at Memorial Park.
When We Meet
Twice a week for 24 weeks on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30 AM or 6:00 PM between July 12, 2010 - December 22, 2010. Workout schedule includes one speed workout and one hill workout.
